LEADING figures from Crawley's Muslim community put forward Abdul Waheed Majid's name as a possible suspect in the inquiry into whether a British man was behind a suicide bombing in Syria last week.
Police executed a search warrant at 9.30am this morning on Majid's home in Martyrs Avenue, Langley Green.
A meeting was held last night, which was attended by members of the town's Muslim community and Crawley's district commander, Chief Inspector Justina Beeken.
