A PENSIONER has been banned from driving after getting behind the wheel while more than twice the drink-drive limit.John Valentine, 68, of Hazel Way, Crawley Down, gave a reading of 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped in the village on January 4. The legal limit is 35.He admitted the offence at Crawley Magistrates' Court, where he was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also fined £330, and ordered to pay costs totalling £118.
