£3 MILLION is to be spent on improvements to Queens Square.
The move was announced by borough council leader Howard Bloom at a Crawley Question Time event at the Civic Hall last night (February 5).
Around 100 members of the public were at the debate, some of whom voiced their concerns over the decline of Queens Square in recent years.
Two weeks ago the Crawley News reported that two retailers, Burton and Dorothy Perkins, were shutting up shop at the square.
