A MAN from Crawley has been arrested on suspicion of endangering the safety of train passengers after a car was left on a level crossing last week.
The blue Citroen was found in the path of oncoming trains, just touching the rail, next to the Crawley High Street/Brighton Road level crossing at about 9.50pm.
A 43-year-old man from Crawley was arrested yesterday afternoon (Sunday) and has been released on police bail until March 3.
