A THIEF has been sentenced after fleeing a B&Q store with £20 of stolen goods.At Crawley Magistrates' Court last Wednesday, Desmond Williams, 46, admitted stealing drill bits and other items from the store on London Road, Northgate, on October 14 last year.Sally Leggett, prosecuting, told the court how Williams had been seen by a security guard on the store's CCTV placing items in his coat.He was then seen buying a fire log for £4.Mrs Leggett said: "The defendant attempts...
