A 13 year-old-girl was the victim of a failed robbery after a man tried to steal an iPod from her.
The bungled theft happened at approximately 3.30pm on Friday when the girl was pushed over while walking home from school across East Court playing fields.
It was only when the girl resisted that the would-be robber, who is believed to have been wearing a dark hooded top and jeans, ran off.
The girl made her way home but a few days later received treatment at the nearby Queen Victoria Hospital...
