SUSSEX Police has been granted an extra 36 hours to question four people arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was beaten so badly he died from his injuries.
The victim, a 45-year-old Portuguese man, was found unconscious in the alleyway, just off Haslett Avenue East in Three Bridges, at about 3.25am yesterday (Sunday).
Four people - three men and a woman - were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday and have been in custody since.
Today Sussex Police successfully applied to the courts...
