PARTS of Copthorne this morning resemble a lake after a night of heavy rainfall.
Residents at The Meadow and The Brook awoke this morning to find a foot of floodwater had turned the road into a lake.
A video capturing the scene outside homes described the roads as like a "swimming pool".
The flooding came after two weeks-worth of rain fell in just one night.
