A POLICE helicopter was dispatched over Broadfield in the hunt for a suspect who was seen making off from a stolen car earlier today (January 10).
Officers were looking for the suspect at about 2am and called for assistance from the police helicopter while searching in the hours of darkness.
The National Police Air Service based at Redhil Aerodrome, which serves Crawley, reported at 2.05 this morning it was assisting in the search.
