THIS morning, as Crawley celebrates its 67th birthday, Chris Evans dedicated his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show to Crawley residents.
Radio 2 this morning tweeted: "Today's show is dedicated to the fine folks of Crawley."And today's show is entitled, on this day back in 1947, Crawley was declared the UK's second ever new town with a population of 9,000."Its aim was to increase the population to 40,000. Today, Crawley sees 107,000 souls enjoying life there!"
