MORE than 500 people have responded to Sussex Police's advert for Police Community Support Officers.
The force began its search for new PCSOs on Wednesday, December 11.
Those who got through will now face a selection process involving scenario tests, English skills and verbal reasoning.
Successful candidates will join Sussex Police for an eight-week initial course before being tutored on the streets.
