A BENEFIT fraudster who hid her living arrangements from the council has been ordered to carry out community work.Maria Smith (previously Bond), of Harvest Road, in Maidenbower, pleaded guilty at Crawley Magistrates' Court last Wednesday (December 18) to two counts of benefit fraud.She admitted failing to declare she was living with her partner, who is now her husband, Stuart Smith and fraudulently claiming £8,800 in benefits.The court heard the couple set up home together in March 2012...
