A FLOOD alert that has been in place since Monday for a host of neighbourhoods in Crawley has been removed.
At 8.30pm last night (Friday) it was removed by the Environment Agency for Ifield Brook, the Upper River Mole, Gatwick Stream, Burstow Stream and Salfords Stream.
The River Mole burst its banks during Monday night and Tuesday morning's storm causing significant damage in Ifield and Tinsley Green in particular.
