TRAFFIC is queueing on the M23 southbound this morning (Friday) mainly due to holidaymakers having no way of getting to Gatwick Airport by train.
Due to engineering work there are no trains in either direction between Gatwick and London.
There are queues as motorists try to leave the motorway at junction 9 (Gatwick).
Travllers who don't want to, or can't, travel by car are instead being advised to get buses between Gatwick and East Grinstead ot vice versa, which could add up to two hours...
