WITHIN the last hour the Environment Agency has warned that the river level of the River Mole at Stafford Bridge in Ifield is at its highest ever recorded level.
It was measured at 11.45 on Monday night at 3.20 metres, and means that flooding is highly possible.
The typical river level range for this location is between 0.63 metres and 2.50 metres.
The highest river level recorded at this location previously was 2.55 metres on January 16, 2010.
