FIREFIGHTERS today rushed to a house in Furnace Green after an oven caught fire.
The blaze, which is thought to have ignited when an electrical fault occurred in the appliance, was put out by firefighters from Crawley fire station at approximately 2.20pm.
The house sustained only minor smoke damage from the fire.
