A WHITE Christmas is probably everyone's idea of the prefect festive day, but it's almost certainly not going to happen in Crawley next week.
Forecasts predict it will be cloudy on December 25 with outbreaks of sunshine and rain - a typically British mixed bag.
The day will start at a cool three degrees Celsius, rising to six.
But Santa Claus had better pack a coat as Christmas Eve looks set to be a wash out with rain predicted for much of the day.
