A TREE last night fell onto a 4x4 ambulance as 60mph winds battered Crawley.
The vehicle was parked at the ambulance station at Ifield Avenue when the tree fell on top it at 10pm.
Firefighters from the nearby Crawley Fire Station attended the scene soon after and helped remove the fallen tree from the atop of the 4x4.
No one was injured in the incident.
