But traffic is slowing commuters who use the M25.
There are queues in Kent, clockwise between junction five (M26) and Clacket Lane Services, in the roadworks area.
And there is heavy congestion in Surrey, clockwise around junction 10 (A3).
There are no reported delays to the M23 or to train travel.
