AN ELDERLY woman was stuck in a lift at night for more than half-an-hour.
The pensioner dialled 999 following the engineering fault in a block of flats in St Agnes Road, East Grinstead.
Crews from East Grinstead Fire Station were alerted to the incident at about 7.25pm last night (Wednesday) and used small tools to release the woman shortly before 7.50pm.
