A MIDDLE-AGED man is to appear in court accused of tricking his way into the homes of pensioners in three different parts of Sussex in a single day.
Officers believe Patrick Doyle, 45, targeted an 88-year-old couple in Crawley, a 90-year-old woman in Brighton and an 84-year-old woman in Eastbourne on November 22.
The first victims were visited at their home in Woodfield Road, at around 11.20am by two men who claimed they were from the council and were there to put new fences up.
