HIGHWAYS chiefs are employing a high-tech approach to target motorists who put the lives of road crews in danger.
Workmen in East Sussex say they have been spat at, sworn at and even run over by drivers during routine operations.
But now they are being equipped with head cameras to capture footage of drivers who speed through roadworks, drive in an antisocial manner or abuse staff.
