A SPINE-TINGLING summer reading challenge for children is proving a hit, with nearly 1,000 discovering new books. Crawley and Broadfield libraries have thrown down the gauntlet by challenging kids to read six books during the school holidays.More than 800 have signed up to the challenge at Crawley Library and about 150 at Broadfield Library so far.Children have six weeks to complete the free Summer Reading Challenge, with prizes on offer for those who reach the target, and a Creepy House theme...
